The introduction of So you really want to learn History Books 1 & 2 has been a wonderful bonus to my teaching my pupils this year. The books are so colourful and relevant, sitting alongside my own History notes very comfortably. We are also enjoying the Junior History series lower down the school.

Caroline Hampton, Home Educator - 9 Sep 2008
I love the fact that your History books are chronological - such a rare thing and makes so much more sense than the way the National Curriculum does history.

Niall Murphy, Radley College - 14 Dec 2007
This book is a wonderful introduction to Ancient Greece and Rome. Michael Webb takes us on a historical journey from the myths and legends of Ancient Greece to the wars with Persia and Alexander the Great. Ancient Rome is explored from Romulus and Remus to Julius Caesar and the decline and fall of the Empire. It is an excellent study of a fascinating period of history.

Paul Spencer, Port Regis School - 14 Dec 2007
Remarkable for its comprehensive detail, this textbook should encourage confident delivery of the curriculum as well as free reading amongst the pupils. Its detailed text is supplemented by a wide range of exercises to stimulate and inspire class discussion as well as individual thought.
