We have used all three of Galore Park French books. We found the books had the perfect balance of grammar and vocabulary. I am a great believer that grammar is the most crucial element of learning a new language and that vocabulary is easily gathered from exposure. Grammar requires well-thought out teaching and Galore Park is wonderfully logical with plenty of practice and review. In short, I am very glad we used Galore Park French. I am certain there is nothing to match it out there. It is balanced, easy to use for the self-educator and well-thought through.

I have just discovered 'So you really want to learn French' and I have to say that if your series had been around in my day, they would have been manna from Heaven! I taught at a number of secondary schools and at a 6th form college and most of my 16 year olds who started the Modern Language A-level courses would have benefited from a grounding in your series! I think they are really excellent - lively, humorous, but giving a clear knowledge of basic language structures. It almost tempts me to return to teaching!

A long overdue addition to the prep school teacher’s armoury – if you teach to Common Entrance and Public School Scholarship, this has to be the book for you!

A book to lay the foundations of the French language, giving attention to grammatical rigour without sacrificing reader appeal.

I absolutely think Galore Park books are the best out there for languages. I have found nothing better and will not look for better. I have found it in these books. Thank you for offering rigorous and enjoyable material.

We just completed our first week of Galore Park French and we LOVE it! I am so pleased and so excited about these books. I had purchased another program previously but was very disappointed in many areas - audio CD poorly done, lack of grammar instruction, too slow pace.
My children are almost 11 and 8 and a half and Galore Park French is just perfect for them. The audio CD is fabulous. You get to hear actual French conversations done with multiple speakers - great for training the ear. The programme is a terrific mix of grammar instruction and conversation. Not to mention the fantastic layout. It is truly exactly what I was looking for. My children have been practising their French all week and keep asking me if it is time for French class. What high praise!

We love the format and the conversational elements. The pace seems perfect for the target age group as well. The biggest endorsement is the fact that my kids actually like it.
