Simon Horbury, Science SATIPS Broadsheet - 31 May 2011
I have to say [this book] is quite excellent! Aimed at Year 5 it has the right level of text, diagrams and photos and should be accessible and interesting to pupils. Exercises are well thought out providing a challenge for pupils of differing abilities. Practical work suggestions are good (indeed there are several that I am going to use myself).

Anne Brown, Home Educator - 29 Dec 2010
I am very happy to review Junior Science 3 because it does exactly what I need it to! My son has high functioning autism, along with visual processing problems that means he needs study materials to be clearly laid out, with no ambiguity. Junior Science 3 carries on the honourable tradition of the series with concise explanations that don't dumb science down and experiments that are both relevant and don't need a science lab. For home educators, the series gives a sound grounding and is easy to work through alongside the child, or for the child to use independedently, and Book 3 leads very neatly into GP Senior Science 1, which his older sister has used and which gave her a great grounding for IGCSE.
