GALORE PARK AND THE ISEB

Galore Park works closely with the ISEB (Independent Schools Examinations Board). The majority of our books are endorsed by the ISEB, which means that the books have been edited and/or approved by a member of the ISEB examination setting team for the relevant subject.

The ISEB offers examinations for pupils transferring from junior to independent senior schools at the ages of 11+ and 13+. The syllabuses are devised and regularly monitored by ISEB, which is composed of representatives from the Headmasters' and Headmistresses' Conference, the Girls' Schools Association and the Incorporated Association of Preparatory Schools.

From 1^st March 2007 Galore Park became the sole distributor of ISEB past exam papers and publications. Parents and tutors wishing to order past exam papers for practice purposes may buy these in sets as follows:

11+ Core subjects with mark schemes

Includes English Papers 1, 2, and mark scheme, Mathematics and mark scheme, Science and mark scheme.

13+ Core Subjects with mark schemes

Includes English Papers 1, 2 and mark scheme; Maths Papers 1, 2, 3, 4, Mental maths, Mental maths examiner's copy, and Maths mark scheme; Biology and mark scheme, Chemistry and mark scheme, Physics and mark scheme.

13+ Humanities with mark schemes

Includes Geography, History and Religious Studies, with mark schemes.

13+ French with mark scheme

Includes French Listening (Papers 1 and 2), French Speaking (Papers 1 and 2), French Reading and Writing (Papers 1 and 2), Examiner's copies, CD and mark scheme

13+ German with mark scheme

Includes German Listening (Papers 1 and 2), German Speaking (Papers 1 and 2), German Reading and Writing (Papers 1 and 2), Examiner's copies CD and mark scheme

13+ Spanish with mark scheme

Includes Spanish Listening (Papers 1 and 2), Spanish Speaking (Papers 1 and 2), Spanish Reading and Writing (Papers 1 and 2), Examiner's copies, CD and mark scheme

Common Academic Scholarship Exam set

Includes English, Maths, Science, History, Geography, Religious Studies, Latin, French listening (including CD and Examiner's copy), French reading and writing
