11+ Common Entrance Subjects

At 11+ Common Entrance, pupils will sit exams in English, Maths and Science. However, some schools write their own entrance exams and will request pupils sit exams in Verbal or Non-Verbal Reasoning.

The English Common Entrance exam at 11+ consists of two papers where pupils are tested on their reading and writing skills. 

Pupils will sit one exam for Maths Common Entrance at 11+. Find out everything you need to know about the exam and the best products to use here. 

In the Science Common Entrance exam at 11+, pupils will sit one exam which includes questions on Biology, Chemistry and Physics. 

Verbal Reasoning
Verbal Reasoning tests are not part of ISEB Common Entrance exams; however, many schools do set these as part of their entry requirements. 

Non-Verbal Reasoning
Non-Verbal Reasoning is not examined by ISEB; however, we can help tackle the types of questions you'll be asked if taking an entrance exam which does test Non-Verbal Reasoning skills.
